Wäscherei Abel is not only one of the leading companies in the industry, but also one of the largest employers in the Berchtesgadener Land region. A particular challenge they face is the processing of workwear that cannot be dried in a finisher or only with difficulty in a tumbler.
Since its founding in 1965, Wäscherei Abel in Anger-Aufham has been consistently committed not only to cleanliness, hygiene, and freshness, but also to sustainability and the responsible use of natural resources. In line with this philosophy, Fintec Textilpflegesysteme, in collaboration with Wäscherei Abel, developed a space-saving air-drying system that operates completely without active heating and makes use of previously unused ceiling space.
This sorting system consists of 23 buffer rods, each with 50 positions – allowing approximately 1,100 garments to be stored and dried efficiently, while saving valuable floor space.
