Fintec Textilpflegesysteme GmbH installed a system consisting of a tunnel finisher, a loading station, a VarioFold F 85 A folding machine, and the connecting conveyor system.
To address the space shortage, a unique solution was implemented: the tunnel finisher was suspended from the ceiling.
An integrated vertical conveyor within the transport system ensures smooth movement of textiles between levels.
This approach allows vertical space to be utilized efficiently. The finisher can be installed on platforms – or, as in this case, “suspended” entirely.
The entire transport system, which can be equipped with buffer, circular, or vertical conveyors depending on requirements, is controlled via frequency converters to reduce mechanical wear and improve reliability.
At the Chur facility, optimal conditions for an efficient and economically viable workflow were created in a minimal amount of space.
